Clubhouse Rules

Shared expectations help keep the clubhouse safe, welcoming, and focused on recovery.

  1. Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia are not allowed on the premises. Violators will be subject to arrest.
  2. No pets or animals are allowed in the clubhouse, with the exception of service animals.
  3. No guns, knives, or weapons of any kind are allowed on clubhouse property.
  4. Guests may use the clubhouse and its facilities when accompanied by a clubhouse member for up to 30 days, after which they should be considered for a clubhouse membership.
  5. Chairpersons are responsible for ensuring meeting rent is paid after each meeting.
  6. Chairpersons are responsible for cleaning the meeting area after each meeting.
  7. The clubhouse is open to nonmembers who are attending meetings for 30 minutes before and after each meeting.
  8. Loitering in the parking lot is prohibited before, during, and after meetings.
  9. Clubhouse members and nonmembers are expected to conduct themselves in a manner conducive to good AA fellowship.
  10. No gambling is permitted on clubhouse premises.
  11. Clubhouse membership dues are $12 per month and must be paid by the tenth of each month to remain in good standing.
  12. Meetings must become self-supporting within one month of starting.
  13. The club manager or a designated representative, including board members, has authority to enforce clubhouse rules.
  14. Violation of these rules may result in suspension of privileges.
  15. Clubhouse hours are 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  16. Each group is responsible for designating a chairperson before the meeting.
  17. Shoes and shirts must be worn on clubhouse premises.
  18. Remember Rule 62: “Don’t take yourself too seriously.”
